The giant trailer carrying a heavy machine to a sugar factory in Uttar Pradesh has hit another roadblock, this time in Barun in Bihar’s Aurangabad district. The 308-wheel trailer, which has been drawing attention across Jharkhand and Bihar because of its enormous size, is reportedly stuck in the Barun area as it continues its slow and challenging journey towards Uttar Pradesh.

The massive vehicle had earlier made headlines after remaining stranded near the Piska-Nagri toll plaza in Ranchi in late August. At the time, the trailer was waiting for railway clearance to cross an overhead railway barrier and high-tension electrical wires near the Piska railway crossing.

The latest setback has come after the trailer crossed Jharkhand and entered Bihar. The trailer is carrying a massive machine destined for a sugar factory in Uttar Pradesh. Earlier reports said the equipment had arrived in India through Odisha's Paradip port and was being transported northwards on the specially designed multi-axle trailer.

Journey Began From Paradip Port

According to the crew members quoted in the earlier Ranchi report, the trailer had left Paradip with the heavy machinery nearly two months before reaching Ranchi. The trailer had earlier attracted huge crowds in Ranchi, with residents stopping to photograph and record videos of the unusual vehicle. It subsequently continued its journey through Jharkhand, with reports also documenting its movement through Simdega and other parts of the state.

Why The 308-Wheel Trailer Is Moving So Slowly

Transporting such an oversized machine requires more than simply finding a road wide enough for the vehicle. Overhead structures, electricity lines, railway crossings, road diversions, sharp turns and narrow stretches can all become potential obstacles.

In Simdega, for instance, the movement of the heavy machine had previously required electricity wires to be dealt with as the convoy passed through the urban area.

The latest stoppage at Barun highlights the logistical difficulties involved in moving an extremely large industrial machine across several states.

Viral Giant Truck Continues To Draw Attention

The 308-wheel trailer has become a social media attraction because of its unusual appearance and sheer scale. Videos and photographs of the vehicle have circulated widely as it passed through different parts of Jharkhand.

The trailer's journey is now continuing through Bihar, with Barun in Aurangabad emerging as the latest halt before the consignment can proceed towards its Uttar Pradesh destination.

With several more stretches of road still to be covered, the movement of the giant trailer remains a slow and technically demanding operation.
