New Delhi, March 18: In a significant update, the 8th Pay Commission has extended the deadline for submitting responses to its 18-point questionnaire to March 31, 2026. The move comes after multiple requests from employee groups seeking more time to provide detailed and well-considered feedback on crucial matters such as salaries, pensions, allowances, and service conditions.
The extension offers central government employees, pensioners, and other stakeholders an important opportunity to actively participate in shaping recommendations that will impact millions across the country.
