Closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras in a quiet residential village of the Amreli district have captured a dramatic late-night encounter. A small pride of Asiatic lions entered the settlement under the cover of darkness, chasing local cattle and sending stray dogs fleeing.

The footage, which has since gone viral on social media, shows at least two lions roaming the empty village streets during the early hours of the morning.
