Mumbai, November 19: In a tragic incident, six casualties were confirmed hours after an avalanche struck an Army patrol team in the northern region of Siachen Glaciers. Among the deceased, four were Indian Army personnel and two were civilian porters.

A man has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting two minor girls in Chinnamusidivada village of Pendurthi Mandal. Further investigation is underway in the case.
