A 35-year-old man allegedly killed his wife and two minor sons with an axe before dying by suicide by jumping in front of a train in Madhya Pradesh's Morena district, police said on Saturday. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the motive behind the incident, which took place late on Friday night in Kishanpur village, as reported by TOI. According to police, the accused allegedly attacked his 32-year-old wife while she was asleep before fatally assaulting their two sons, aged eight and five, with an axe. All three victims died at the scene.

Police and Forensic Teams Investigating

Police officials said forensic experts examined the crime scene soon after the incident was reported.
