Pawan Kalyan Undergoes Successful Right Shoulder Surgery

The Deputy Chief Minister had been diagnosed with severe rotator cuff injuries in both shoulders. Doctors said an avulsion fracture in his right shoulder required a major surgical procedure, leading the medical team to operate on the right shoulder first.

Medical experts had advised that surgery be performed at the earliest. However, Pawan Kalyan chose to complete his pre-scheduled official engagements before undergoing the procedure.

Left Shoulder Surgery Planned After Recovery

Doctors decided against operating on both shoulders simultaneously, citing the possibility of significant post-operative discomfort and limited mobility.

The official statement said surgery on the left shoulder will be scheduled after an appropriate recovery period.

Injuries Date Back to 2016

According to the statement, Pawan Kalyan's shoulder injuries date back to 2016 and gradually worsened over the years. The injuries were attributed to his extensive public engagements, political tours, election campaigns and continuous interactions with party workers and the public.

Despite persistent pain, he continued to perform his official duties and participate in public programmes without interruption. The Deputy Chief Minister remains under medical supervision, and further updates on his recovery will be shared in due course, according to the official statement.
