Residents Demand Strict Action
Kamble's death has sparked anger among local residents and his colleagues, who are questioning how a gate of such size and weight continued to remain operational despite alleged safety concerns.
Residents have demanded that police register a case of culpable homicide against those found responsible, arguing that an unrepaired gate at a school visited daily by students, parents and staff posed a serious risk. Calls are also growing for a detailed investigation into whether routine safety inspections were conducted and whether earlier warnings were overlooked.
The incident has renewed concerns over infrastructure safety standards at educational institutions. Residents and staff have raised questions about maintenance practices and safety audits, saying that timely repairs could have prevented the tragedy.
The investigation is expected to examine the condition of the gate, the complaints allegedly made before the accident, and whether any lapses in maintenance contributed to Kamble's death.
