In a post on X, Das said police officials arrived at his family home and questioned his family members.
“Two hours ago, the Pondicherry Police showed up at my family’s home and subjected them to all kinds of questioning," Das said on X.
Saurav Das Questions Police Action
Das questioned the reason behind the police visit and asked whether questioning his family members was part of a legal procedure.

He also alleged that his family was being intimidated by the BJP government in Puducherry and claimed that the action was being carried out at the behest of the Centre.

Das Says Police Action Will Not Silence Him
The CJP spokesperson further alleged that the police action was aimed at pressuring him into remaining silent. He said the alleged intimidation would not weaken his position or the party's resolve.
“If the intention is to intimidate me into silence, it will not work. This will not cower me down. It only strengthens our resolve to build a better system, one where the police uphold the law instead of acting like goondas!” Das said.
There was no response from the Puducherry Police or the BJP cited in the statement provided above regarding Das' allegations.
