Pre-Eclampsia

Pre-eclampsia or formerly known as toxemia, is a condition that occurs during pregnancy. It’s marked by high blood pressure in women during their pregnancy. The urine has high content of fibre. Usually, it develops later during the pregnancy but can happen any time during the course. If it goes untreated or unattended, it can lead to severe complications for the mother and child, both. Pre-eclampsia causes swollen feet, legs and arms. There is no way to cure it yet. Only option left is delivery.  World Lupus Day 2018: Celebs, Apart from Selena Gomez, Who Suffered From Lupus.

Placenta Accreta

Placenta Accreta is when the placenta grows way too deep into the uterine wall. Usually, the placenta detaches itself from the uterus after childbirth but in placenta accreta, a part of it is still attached. This can cause excessive blood loss. The only symptom for this is bleeding in the third trimester, which does not always happen. A woman needs a C section after delivery to get rid of placenta accreta. Kim Kardashian opened about the struggles on her website and wrote, "My doctor had to stick his entire arm in me and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails. How disgusting and painful!!! My mom was crying; she had never seen anything like this before. My delivery was fairly easy, but then going through that—it was the most painful experience of my life!", after delivering her eldest daughter, North.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is another autoimmune disease. It attacks the skin and starts reproducing skin cells at an abnormally fast rate. This starts as a regular rash on the skin. It’s the most common on the scalp, elbows and knees. Kim Kardashian shares pictures of her psoriasis from time to time, showing how she's learning to live with it.

Researchers have not yet found a cause for any of these. All these can happen to any person and the reason remains unknown. Some believe it could be due to genetics or poor health and hygiene.
