However, it was during the high-octane climax one saw her as Black Widow as took down an army of guards at Justin Hammer's factory. Natasha Romanova is Cap-A’s loyal friend though one saw her take Iron Man’s side in Captain America: Civil War. Clint Barton aka Hawkeye remains her close aide.

2011 film introduced fans to the much-loved superhero and God of Thunder, Thor Odinson. Australian actor Chris Hemsworth played the role of blonde Mighty Thor and we must say his appearance has undergone a massive change. From long flowy blonde mane to short crop dark hair and one-eye patch, Thor looks menacing.

If there is any most love-to-hate character in MCU, it has to be Loki. Unlike his brother Thor, Loki is not blood-son of Odin and oh-boy, the God of Mischief or Lord of Chaos loves to create problems. The role is played by Tom Hiddleston and we simply cannot get enough of him.

Mark Ruffalo is the second actor to portray the role of scientist turned green monster superhero in MCU after Edward Norton. Yes, things went sour between the actor and MCU and we got Mark Ruffalo as the nee Hulk and there has been no turning back. He is funny, dangerous, loved and super angry!

Thanos is the central character and main antagonist in upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. The role of intergalactic tyrant is played by American actor Josh Brolin who is also seen portraying Nathan Summers / Cable in MCU’s 2018 film Deadpool 2.

We have had standalone Spiderman films way before 2016 but the year saw the introduction of our ‘Friendly Neighbourhood’ superhero in Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tom Holland stars as regular teenager who turned into masked crusader Spiderman after getting bitten by a genetically modified spider. In Civil War we saw him introduced as surprise package by Iron Man to a shocked Captain America team.

The excitement of seeing Black Panther fulfilled when Chadwick Boseman donned the role of Protector of Wakanda in Captain America: Civil War. Just like Captain America, the black superhero is high on moral values and goddam superpowers. From enhanced strength, quick healing, speed, agility, Black Panther is a living nightmare for his antagonists.
