It isn’t the great Indian family drama but trauma. Disney Plus Hotstar recently unveiled the trailer for its latest Malayalam web series, Masterpeace. The series is directed by Sreejith N, starring Nithya Menen and Sharaf U Dheen. Masterpeace to revolve around themes related to family trauma rather than the typical family drama often portrayed in Indian television and film. The over-a-minute-long trailer features comedy, confusion, and chaos between Ria (played by Nithya Menen), Binoy's (played by Sharaf U Dheen) life and their conservative parents, who seem to have intruded into their lives, setting off a series of arguments and miscommunications. This hilarious series also stars Renji Panicker, Maala Parvathi, Ashokan, and Shanthi Krishna.
