The Australian spin bowling legend unfortunately passed away due to a heart attack while he was on a holiday in Thailand two years ago. Shane Warne's untimely death at just 52 years of age expectedly sent shockwaves in the world of cricket.
Fans paid tribute to Australian cricket legend Shane Warne on his 55th birth anniversary. Warne was born on September 13, 1969 in Victoria and made his international debut in 1992 in a Test match between Australia and India at Sydney. He would go on to become one of the best-ever spin bowlers the game of cricket has ever witnessed and be known for producing the 'Ball of the Century' with which he dismissed Mike Gatting in England in the 1993 Ashes. He established himself as a legend of the game. Warne became the first Australian to take 700 Test wickets, ending up with 703 scalps to his name in the longest format. Unfortunately, he breathed his last at the age of 52 in 2022 in Kom Samui, Thailand on March 4, 2022. On this special day, here are some messages with which fans remembered him.
