The Sri Lanka Cricket Board have terminated the Dambulla Thunders franchise from the Lanka Premier League with immediate effect. The decision was taken due to the legal issues faced by the owners of the franchise, Tamim Rahman, Founder of Imperial Sports Group. SLC shared a tweet for the same on their official Twitter handle and informed about the development.
