Why ICC Forced Uganda Cricket Team to Change Jersey for T20 World Cup 2024? Know Reason
Uganda unveiled their jersey for the ICC T20 World Cup in March. But ICC asked authorities to make changes in their design. Here is the reason behind the requested change.
While preparing for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, many teams released their new jersey designs for the mega event. Uganda also followed the pattern and released its jersey on March 20. The design from Elijah Mangeni drew inspiration from the country's national bird - the grey-crowned crane. The design received a lot of praise. But ahead of the World Cup, the ICC asked Uganda to make changes after addressing a few issues with the design. The coloured sleeves – showcasing feathers reduced the visibility of the sponsor logos. Now the sleeves have no design at all. Check out the pics of Uganda’s changed jersey for ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
