Kiernan Hughes-Mason, a former EFL footballer, has been charged with committing a violent attack on a two-year-old girl, leaving her with 'life-changing' brain injuries. According to Daily Mail, Mason was said to have attacked the toddler in January 2020 and his assault resulted in the girl being put in a coma. In the days leading up to the attack, the 32-year-old was said to have hinted at this incident with his text messages to a friend reading, "I'm gonna hit her," and "She's actually getting on my nerves," as was revealed in an investigation. The former footballer had called paramedics after the attack, claiming that the girl had fallen from a doll's house but later, doctors found severe injuries to her legs, chest, face and back.
