George Kurtz has said that the worldwide outage was caused by a cyberattack that led people to see the BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) error on their computers. The CrowdStrike CEO said that the company had been actively working with customers impacted by the defect in the update for Windows hosts. He ruled out cyberattack being the cause of this crash and said, "This is not a security incident or cyberattack. The issue has been identified, isolated, and a fix has been deployed.".
