The Nigeria government on Friday clarified that subscribers are not required to submit International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) Number to it from July this year. Recently, reports surfaced that the Nigerian government had asked citizens to start submitting their IMEI number for implementation of the Device Management System.
