India have beaten Pakistan by six wickets in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025!   And Virat Kohli also has hit his 51st ODI century! It is also Virat Kohli's first century in ICC Champions Trophy. This win has ensured that India have almost sealed a spot in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 semi-finals. Pakistan on the other hand, are virtually out of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 after two losses to their name.  They now need to beat Bangladesh by a massive margin and hope that other results go their way big time to book a spot in the last four. The Men in Blue have dished out a superb performance bat, ball and on the field to defeat their arch-rivals and avenge their defeat from the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy final. After opting to bat first, Pakistan could manage just 242 runs with India's bowlers putting up a good show. Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets, Hardik Pandya got two while Axar Patel, Harshit Rana and Ravindra Jadeja got one apiece. Pakistan just did not have enough runs on the board and would have ideally wanted to take two-three early wickets to put pressure on India. Rohit Sharma departed early after unleashing some big shots but Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli's 69-run partnership lifted India to a position of control. Virat Kohli then struck a 114-run partnership with Shubman Gill to take Pakistan out of the match completely and he fittingly got to his 51st ODI century and also hit the winning runs! For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi took two wickets while Abrar Ahmed and Khushdil Shah got one each.

Well India are well on course to a victory here but the fans are waiting in anticipation to watch Virat Kohli get to his 51st ODI century!

FIFTY for Shreyas Iyer! He has played brilliantly here! After a slow start, he has picked up pace and this partnership with Virat Kohli has brought India in touching distance of a famous win.

Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer have continued to make it look incredibly easy for India as they are finding the singles and doubles and also the occasional boundaries. Both these batters have not let Pakistan bowlers gain any sort of momentum at all.

India are cruising to a win here and there's not much that Pakistan are able to do at the moment. They have not been able to break the partnership between Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer who are doing it easily.

The pressure is building on Pakistan with India scoring 160/2 at the end of 30 overs. Pakistan need a wicket desperately or else this game can finish in quick time.

FIFTY for Virat Kohli and it is his 74th in ODIs! He has looked splendid today and now will look to be there till the end from here on. He might not have been in the best of forms but has shown a lot of intent and the hard work in training has paid off today.

We are at the halfway mark in this innings and India have scored 126 runs while losing two wickets. Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer have looked good and the two will look to continue and keep the scoreboard ticking. Pakistan on the other hand need wickets here to have any chance at defending 242.

Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer have looked to steady the ship and not let Pakistan get away with too many dot deliveries. This partnership will be key if India are to win this match.

So 20 overs are done and India have scored 109/2 while losing both openers. Shreyas Iyer has joined forces with Virat Kohli in the middle after Shubman Gill's wicket. Both the right-handers will look to stitch another partnership here and shift the pressure back on Pakistan.

Khushdil Shah drops a simple catch to dismiss Shubman Gill! Haris Rauf could have had both Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli in his first over! Gill hit the ball straight to Khushdil Shah at catching mid-wicket and he spilled the chance. Wonder how costly the drop will be. Earlier, Virat Kohli had a top-edge but the ball fell short of third man.

Shubman Gill is showing just why he is the no 1 batter in ODIs at the moment! The right-hander is unfurling his superb range of shots against Shaheen Afridi and he along with Virat Kohli have led a terrific recovery for India after Rohit Sharma's wicket. Virat Kohli has looked hungry and solid so far and it is time he starts to take the attack to Pakistan.

Shubman Gill has played some terrific shots as he is leading a counter-attack for India. The right-hander, who has been in great form in ODIs, played some terrific shots and was aided by a bit of luck as well against Shaheen Afridi.
