Stumps! South Africa end the day in a good place but the two wickets towards the end have kept Pakistan strongly in the game as well. It has been an even day with both sides having their say and the ends on the same terms. South Africa wrapped up Pakistan for 333 and then they found a strong partnership between Tony de Zorzi and Tristan Stubbs. But Asif Afridi struck removing both de Zoezi and then Dewald Brevis. Both sides will play with everything to gain on Day 3. 

Out! Pakistan have got two wickets in quick succession and they are strongly back in the game. It is the dangerous Dewald Brevis who departs for a duck. It is Asif Afridi who struck again. Turned in from a good length on off, Brevis hung back to defend. The ball took an outside edge and travelled to Salman Ali Agha at slips and he completed a good catch. Out! Finally Pakistan get their much-wanted breakthrough and it is Asif Afridi who delivers it. Maiden wicket for Afridi and Tony de Zorzi will have to walk back. Good length ball, spun into Tony de Zorzi while he was trying to work it on the onside. Ended up missing it and the ball struck him in front of stumps. Umpire gave not out initially but DRS showed three reds. Pakistan will want to make this opening bigger.  de Zorzi lbw b Asif Afridi 55(93).

Tristan Stubbs and Tony de Zorzi have changed their gears a bit as they collected 22 runs from four overs. Landed some lusty blows and with it both of them have now reached their half-century. They will want to score some runs before the pitch breaks further. 

Tristan Stubbs, Tony de Zorzi have maintained their slow but steady approach against the Pakistan spinners. They have barely taken any risk and in the last ten overs, they have put together only 34 runs. But they are showing grit and the patience to stay out on the crease for as long as it takes. Pakistan will want this partnership to break. 

South Africa aim to go steady and not rush things. They know, one wicket here can change things for them and make them collapse. They want to take the game deeper and wait for their chance. Tony de Zorzi and Tristan Stubbs have reflected the same approach in their batting post Tea and have reached the 100-run mark. 

The two South Africa batters on the crease, Tony de Zorzi and Tristan Stubbs have carefully played out the last few overs ahead of Tea and go into the break unbeaten. South Africa started decently but they have a long way to go. They will know that a lead in this innings can be a deciding factor and hence, set batters will have to play long. 

Tristan Stubbs and Tony de Zorzi are at the crease for South Africa now and both players will seek a partnership here. South Africa can find themselves in a position of control with a strong partnership here as Pakistan eye some wickets.

The post-lunch session has started with Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickelton in the middle for South Africa. Pakistan have begun with their main weapon in Noman Ali and this session will have an impact on the way this game heads. atleast today. 

LUNCH on Day 2! It has been a session where South Africa have had the upper hand. Keshav Maharaj stole the show with a spectacular seven-wicket haul bowling Pakistan out for 333 and later, Ryan Rickelton and Aiden Markram scored nine runs and ensured that Pakistan did not get any wicket. Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickelton have come out to bat and they will look to put up a good partnership. Shaheen Afridi, with the first over, concedes four runs in the form of a boundary. 

OUT! Keshav Maharaj has picked up his seventh wicket and it is in the form of Asif Afridi. The 38-year-old hit a four but attempted a wild slog on the next ball, only to see his stumps castled. Pakistan have been bowled out for 333 and South Africa will feel they have the momentum, having ended Pakistan's innings in the first session on Day 2. South Africa's innings will start soon! OUT! Five wickets for Keshav Maharaj, his 12th in Tests and the left-arm spinner has shown why he is so special. Returning to South Africa's playing XI, Keshav Maharaj has made the most on a pitch that has not been particularly helpful and he has kept Pakistan in check with this performance.  Shaheen Afridi b Keshav Maharaj 0(7)

OUT! South Africa have another wicket and it is that of Saud Shakeel! The left-hander edged the delivery bowled by Keshav Maharaj to first slip and Aiden Markram did not make any mistake this time around. OUT! Keshav Maharaj has struck and he has broken this partnership, dismissing Salman Ali Agha! The right-hander was struck on his pads and up went the finger. Salman Ali Agha used the DRS, but it showed three reds, confirming it was out. This partnership which threatened to take the game away from South Africa, has been broken. The 300 is up for Pakistan with Salman Ali Agha hitting Marco Jansen for a four to take the team past that mark. Pakistan are looking good at the moment and South African bowlers have seemed clueless so far on Day 2 apart from few moments of brilliance.

Saud Shakeel and Salman Ali Agha have kept the scoreboard ticking so far in the morning session on Day 2. South Africa have had some close calls but so far, no damage has been done to the wickets' column for the hosts.
