Energizer To Reveal 26 New Smartphones With Foldable Screen & Pop-up Cameras at MWC 2019 - Report
Energizer will be showcasing around 26 new smartphones at MWC 2019 from its Ultimate, Energy, Hardcase and Power Max lineup.
Energizer, an American company that is popularly known for making huge batteries. However, not much people know that the company also makes smartphone devices. As a reminder, the company unveiled a brand new smartphone with massive 16000 mAh battery at last year’s MWC. However, the company is expected to reveal 26 new smartphone at the forthcoming MWC 2019. Jean-Daniel Beurnier, CEO of Avenir Telecom stated, “By offering high-performance, quality phones at affordable prices, we are responding to the growing demand for entry-level and mid-range smartphones. In particular, this market positioning lets us focus on catering to regions of the world experiencing rapid growth, where demand for these kinds of products is high, and which represent a strategic path for our development”. He further mentioned that, “The release of a fourth line of elegant, innovative and reasonably-priced smartphones broadens the catalogue of products that we can offer our partners, which in turn will allow them to satisfy the demands of consumers in their local regions.
Though the company hasn’t revealed the specifications of all the devices in a media, however, it does give out some details on the Ultimate lineup. The company will be showcasing Ultimate U620S phone which will carry three rear cameras (16MP+2MP+0.2MP) and 16MP front camera.
On the other hand, the Ultimate U570S and the U650S will come with dual rear cameras featuring 16MP + 2MP sensors with Live Focus, Filters, Panorama and Beauty Face modes. The smartphones will also be packed with a 16MP selfie camera. Moreover, the new Energizer Ultimate phone line up will be backed by batteries ranging from 3000 to 4000 mAh, as well as USB Type-C port for charging. Under the hood, the device will be powered by MediaTek chipset that will sport 4GB RAM and up to 128GB of storage.
