Huawei, the Chinese smartphone maker has officially launched its latest Nova 5 Series in China. The new Nova 5 Series comprises of Nova 5, Nova 5i and Nova 5 Pro. Alongside the launch of new Nova 5 Series, the Chinese smartphone brand also announced Kirin 810 SoC, which powers the regular Nova 5. It is important to note that Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro sport same specifications. However, the difference is under the hood, wherein the former gets Kirin 810 SoC whereas the latter is powered by Kirin 980 chipset. Huawei Mate X Foldable Phone To Launch in September: Report

Both Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro feature a 6.39-inch display with FHD+ resolution. They also get 40W Huawei SuperCharge and under-display fingerprint sensor. For photography, there is a 32MP camera upfront for selfie and video calling. The devices also come equipped with quad cameras at the rear including 48MP primary shooter, 16MP wide angle lens, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro camera.

The company will be launching the regular Nova 5 smartphone by mid of July. The handset will be offered in a single storage option - 8GB RAM + 128GB internal space. The device will cost RMB 2999, which is around Rs 30,350.

On the other hand, Nova 5 Pro will be seen in 2 versions - 6GB RAM + 128GB internal space and 8GB RAM + 256GB internal space. The 6GB RAM version will cost RMB 2,999 while the bigger 8GB model will retail at RMB 3,399 (around Rs 34,300).

Talking about Huawei Nova 5i, the device comes powered by Kirin 710 SoC and flaunts a punch-hole display. The handset is also equipped with quad cameras at the back. The primary sensor is a 24MP lens and there is also an 8MP wide angle sensor. The camera module also packs a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The new Nova 5i will be offered in 2 storage configurations - 6GB RAM + 128GB storage & 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The device is backed by a massive 4000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging technology. The Nova 5i smartphone will be priced from RMB 1,999 (around Rs 20,200).
