New York, May 9: A US evidence analysis expert has confirmed the authenticity of a video depicting an alleged alien encounter in Las Vegas. Scott Roder, an expert in evidence analysis, informed NewsNation on May 3 that the video, which went viral last year, has not been doctored or manipulated in any way.

The video was recorded by a teenager named Angel Kenmore between the night of April 30 and the early hours of May 1. It gained significant attention after Kenmore reported the incident to the authorities at approximately 11:50 pm, coinciding with a Las Vegas police officer's sighting of an unidentified object in the sky. UFO Sighting Reported in US? The American Meteor Society corroborated these claims, stating that the UFO's flash was visible from locations as distant as California and Utah. The footage in question captured an unexplained movement above a fencepost, which left Kenmore and his family horrified. The entity was described in a YouTube video as a "tall, skinny, lengthy creature" with a "grey-greenish colour."

Kenmore expressed his fear in the video, stating, "In my backyard. I swear to God this is not a joke, this is actually — we’re terrified." Upon reviewing the footage, Roder concluded that the video was genuine and not fabricated. He explained that the vector motion analysis linked the shadow's movement to that of a physical body, ruling out the possibility of it being "a floating head."

"We believe it’s attached to a body. And the motion of that head from right to left is consistent with the motion that we see between the slats of the fence," Roder stated, further solidifying the claim that the video is indeed an authentic recording of the event.
