A 30-year-old former physical education teacher from Wiltshire, England, is standing trial in Winchester Crown Court after being accused of having s*x with her 16-year-old male student while watching television during the Wimbledon tournament. Prosecutors told the court on Wednesday that Bronwen James engaged in a "s*xually charged relationship" with the teenager while employed at Bitterne Park School in Southampton. The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) stated that James allegedly told the student she "loved him" and expressed a desire to move away together.

Recalling the incident, the alleged victim stated in court testimony that while he initially thought the relationship was positive, he now realizes he was groomed.
