A South Carolina woman has been arrested and charged after authorities alleged she permitted multiple men to s*xually assault her two young daughters in exchange for cash and illegal narcotics. Helena Nichole Hoyle, 27, was taken into custody on August 14 and faces two counts of human trafficking and two counts of child neglect, according to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigation and Allegations

According to arrest warrant affidavits, the children described "repeated sexual assaults by multiple unknown males, on multiple occasions". Investigators stated that the mother "knowingly allowed access to her daughters by the males in exchange for money and illegal narcotics". While the younger victim was unable to provide the same level of detail due to her age, authorities noted she corroborated significant aspects of the disclosure, confirming that multiple men had inappropriately touched both children. Court documents further alleged that on at least one occasion, Hoyle sat nearby scrolling TikTok on her phone while one of the assaults occurred.
Living Conditions and Custody Status
In addition to the trafficking and abuse allegations, the victims reported severe neglect within the household. The children told investigators that the home lacked running water and a functioning bathroom, forcing them to use a bucket, and stated they were unable to brush their teeth, shower, or maintain basic sanitation. As of August 18, Hoyle remained held at the Berkeley County Jail on a USD 250,000 bond.
