In a shocking incident, a passenger travelling with IndiGo airlines on January 14 physically assaulted the aircraft’s pilot. The incident took place on IndiGo flight (6E-2175) from Delhi to Goa when the pilot was making an announcement. The flight was delayed by several hours due to fog. Video of the incident has gone viral. The video shows the passenger, wearing a yellow hoodie, slapping the pilot. The pilot has filed a complaint against the passenger and the airline is also in the process of filing an official case. The airline has formed an internal committee to address the issue.
