Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha, Adhir Chowdhury, on December 09 said that Citizenship (Amendment) Bill is nothing but a targeted legislation on minorities of India. The Opposition parties are condemning the Bill as it is "against" a particular community. Union Home Minister Amit Shah countered Chowdhury by saying, "This Bill is not even .001% against minorities in the country."
