After a while, the rain stopped and the umpires decided to reduce the chase to 19 overs with the target revised to 147. This meant that Gujarat Titans needed 15 runs off the last over and Rahul Tewatia and Gerald Coetzee narrowly pulled them over the line. This is the eighth victory of the Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025 and the fifth loss for the Mumbai Indians.
