Home Ministry Allows Final Year University Exams By September End; UGC’s Revised Guidelines Released

Ministry of Home Affairs, in a letter to Union Higher Education Secretary on July 6 permitted conduct of examinations by universities & institutions. A statement released by the Home Ministry said the final term examinations are to be compulsorily conducted as per the UGC guidelines. UGC guidelines on examinations & academic calendar for the universities, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) approved by the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare have to be compulsorily followed. University Grants Commission (UGC) the higher education regulator, released fresh guidelines on July 6 saying the end-of-term exams can be held in September. Watch the video to know.
