KKR vs SRH IPL 2025 Stat Highlights: Venkatesh Iyer, Bowlers Help Defending Champions Register Emphatic Victory

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) produced an all-round performance to beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 80 runs in IPL 2025 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on April 3. This was KKR's second win of the season. For SRH, it was a third consecutive loss. After being asked to bat first, Kolkata Knight Riders scored 200/6 with Angkrish Raghuvanshi (50) and Venkatesh Iyer (60) hitting solid half-centuries. Angkrish Raghuvanshi and KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane (38) built a solid 81-run partnership early on and later, Venkatesh Iyer and Rinku Singh (32*) smashed 91 runs off 41 deliveries to power KKR to a solid total. From being 122/4 at the end of 15 overs, Venkatesh Iyer and Rinku Singh powered the defending champions to 200/6 in 20 overs. In response, Sunrisers Hyderabad were bowled out just 120 runs. Vaibhav Arora set the tone for this win with a spectacular three-wicket haul (3/29) which included the wickets of Travis Head (4) and Ishan Kishan (2). Varun Chakaravarthy scalped three wickets as well (3/22) while Andre Russell got two (2/21). Harshit Rana (1/15) and Sunil Narine (1/30) scalped one each.
