Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2020-21 in the parliament. In her second budget she said that this budget is based on three themes -- aspirational India, economic development for all and a caring society. The Finance Minister offered a some relief to the salaried class with a rejig in the income tax rates, apart from allocating funds to revive the plunging economy.
