After reaching Thailand, they were allegedly taken to a location in Pattaya, where they were held captive by the accused. Investigators said the victims were allegedly tortured and forced to contact their families to demand ransom money. The gang reportedly sought around 2.4 million Thai baht, equivalent to nearly ₹70 lakh, for their release.
