The suicide case of August Ames who was a famous pornstar and starred in almost 290 movies has got a new turn. Reports have it that in the year 2017 Ames killed herself after she received a Twitter backlash. She was said to have been bullied on social media after she refused work with a star who "had worked in gay porn." She was just 23-year-old when she was found dead in a public park in Camarillo, California and it was being said that she gave up her life being bullied online. However, a podcast that is going to come up on Audible called the "The Last Days of August" claims that they have “unravelled the never-before-told story” about Ames death.

According to Daily Star, porn producer Kevin Moore who was also August's husband requested an investigative journalist Jon Ronson to look into her story. She is said to have taken her life after tweeting that she wouldn't work with "crossovers,"- men who's worked in gay porn. A gay porn star had even encouraged her to “swallow a cyanide pill” in a vile message, as per reports by Daily Star.

The Ronson’s podcast reportedly features various interviews with family, friends and adult industry professionals; also it claims that it has uncovered “particular event” involving a “shady” individual which brings “much-needed clarity” in regards to Ames' death. However, this incident has uncovered the porn industry's struggle with cyberbullying and mental health.
