Accused Escapes from Police Custody in Srinagar
An accused escaped from police custody on Tuesday while he was being produced before a court here, police said.
Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Mar 19 (ANI): An accused escaped from police custody on Tuesday while he was being produced before a court here, police said.The accused identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Rah is a resident of Kulgam and has been involved in multiple cases.He was lodged in Mattan jail. The police has registered a case under relevant sections of law in this regard. Search is underway to trace the accused. (ANI)
