Business Briefs Birupaksha Mishra Takes over as ED of Corporation Bank

New Delhi, Dec 31 (PTI) Birupaksha Mishra has taken over as the executive director (ED) of Corporation Bank.

Prior to this appointment, Mishra was general manager in Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank said in a statement.

In his 34-year long service, he has held important assignments in Central Bank of India in various administrative and functional capacities at branches, regional offices and also at the corporate office, it said.

FM addresses board of Punjab & Sind Bank on 111th year *

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley addressed the board of Punjab & Sind Bank on the occassion of 111th year of the bank.

The meeting held on December 27 was attended by its Chairman Charan Singh and Managing Director S Harisankar along with other directors, the bank said in a statement.
