Jamshedpur, Aug 6 (PTI) Tata Steel CEO and Managing Director, T V Narendran today said ethical behaviour was a legacy, which we should pass on to the next generation, a company press release said.
Speaking at the concluding function of the Ethics Month 2018 themed Brand-where ethics makes a difference at the Steelenium Hall in the Works premises. Narenran said Ethics is the foundation on which we are respected as a brand which enjoys trust and credibility.
As a Group and as a company, we walk the talk. We are all custodians of ethics and touch points for our stakeholders. Ethical behaviour is a legacy which we should leave for the next generation, Narendran said.
The day was marked the end of a month-long calendar of events to commemorate the values of integrity, unity, excellence, pioneering and responsibility.
Tata Workers Union president, Ravi Prasad said that ethical behaviour is very important and a strong example of ethics at work in Tata Steel can be seen in the way of agreements, which are not only signed between the management and union but also implemented accordingly.
