Tiruppur (Tamil Nadu) [India], October 26 (ANI): Three people including two siblings were killed after the car they were travelling in collided with a lorry at Avinashi in Tamil Nadu's Tiruppur on Saturday, police said
The accident tookl place near Palangarai village in the early hours today.
Among the deceased are two sisters identified as Aparna (26), Hema 21 and Manish (28).
Avinashi police in Tamil Nadu said that the car was on its way to Coimbatore from Bengaluru when it collided with a lorry which was parked on a roadside due to fuel shortage.
Following the incident, police and fire rescue teams undertook a rescue operation.
All the bodies have been sent to Avinashi Government Hospital (GH) for post-mortem.
Police have registered a case and started an investigation. (ANI)
