Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) [India], August 19 (ANI): Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan condoled the demise of Justice V P Mohan Kumar, who was the Acting Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister said that he was diligent in ensuring human rights literacy among the citizens and ensuring that they were maintained.

Justice Mohan Kumar wrote many notable judgements that ensured justice for the poor. Social interventions, such as reducing the weight of school bags, made him stand out. His orders as Chairman of the Human Rights Commission gave a new direction to human rights issues.
Former Acting Chief Justice of Kerala High Court and former Acting Chairperson of Kerala State Human Rights Commission Justice V P Mohan Kumar passed away at Ernakulam on Sunday evening at the age of 84.
Justice Mohan Kumar also served as the inquiry commission of the Kalluvathukkal illegal liquor disaster. (ANI)
