New Delhi [India], August 8 (ANI): The Delhi Police have doubled down on crackdown on the illegal sale of Chinese manjha in the national capital ahead of Independence Day.
Also, police have raided several places and arrests in this regard.

On Monday, the police seized a huge amount of Chinese manjha from a house at Fayaz Ganj in the Azad Market area. One person was arrested during the raid.
According to the police, they conducted the raid after getting a tip-off about the sale of Chinese manjha from the house. The arrested person was identified as Asjad, 22. A case was registered against him under the relevant sections of the BNS and the Environment Protection Act.
Earlier this week, in another raid, a person was arrested in Rohini for selling prohibited Chinese Manjha. He was identified as Amit Kumar Jain (40). The police team seized 45 rolls of Chinese manjha from him.
Last week, Delhi Police raided a godown at Naharpur Market in Rohini and recovered a huge amount of Chinese manjha. The police have arrested the owner of the godown, identified as Premchand. (ANI)
