Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], September 8 (ANI): National farmer leaders led by Chukki Nanjundaswamy and Rakesh Tikait, of Samyukta Kisan Morcha met Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday in Bengaluru and discussed various farmer issues.

The leaders also discussed the alleged anti-farmer agricultural laws implemented by the previous state BJP government and the central government.

Tikait shared the photographs of the meeting on the social media platform ‘X’ and wrote, “Today met the Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah along with the farmers' delegation and had a detailed discussion on the problems of farmers. On which CM assured us to solve all the problems of the farmers as soon as possible.”

Earlier in the day Tikait Participated in the meeting of ICCFM in Bengaluru, which was attended by delegations from 12 states. In the meeting issues like climate change and its impacts were discussed. (ANI)
