The weatherman has predicted for the day a generally cloudy sky with light rain or thundershower accompanied with gusty wind (speed 30-40 kmph) with hail.
The relative humidity recorded at 8:30 am was 70 per cent, the officials said.
According to the meteorological department, the maximum temperature is likely to settle around 32 degrees Celsius.
Delhi, with a maximum temperature of 35.2 degrees Celsius, recorded the hottest day of the year on Thursday.
