Mumbai, Jun 23 (PTI) Two new cases of coronavirus were reported in Mumbai on Friday taking the tally of infections to 11,63,925, an official from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.

The toll remained unchanged at 19,773 and the count of recoveries reached 11,44,127 after six patients recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours, he said.

As per a bulletin issued by the civic body, 463 swab samples were tested during the day, raising the total number of tests conducted in the city so far to 1,88,93,040, the official said.

The city is now left with 25 active cases, the report said.

The recovery rate stands at 98.3 per cent, while the overall growth rate of cases for the period from June 16 to June 22 was 0.0003 per cent, it stated.
