New Delhi, Jan 4 (PTI) Power discom TPDDL has announced the winners of its 'Green Warriors' campaign for school kids, a company spokesperson said on Wednesday.

The campaign received over 1,000 entries from more than 50 schools across the country. The 10 winners won prizes up to Rs 10,000, the official said.

The entries included poems, dance, enactment and others, highlighting innovative ideas to help save the environment, tackle global warming, and build a greener future.

Congratulating the winners, Ganesh Srinivasan, CEO of TPDDL said, "We are glad to see that our future generation is aware of the ongoing climatic challenges, and is going beyond traditional ways to be the brand ambassadors of sustainable living and reduce the effects of global warming."

The winners included Heth Savia, Mumbai, Anaya, Delhi, Atul Yadav, Delhi, Abhinav Raj, Delhi, Tanisha, Faridabad, Nikshay Sharma, Delhi, Siddhi, Delhi, Nawab Chaudhary, Delhi and Hiten Gautam, Delhi, the official added.
