Peshawar, Apr 30 (PTI) A Pakistani journalist was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in northwest Pakistan on Tuesday.
The journalist Amanullah Gharoka, who was the chairman of a press club, was travelling to a village in Parova area bordering South Waziristan when some unidentified gunmen riding a motorbike, fired at him, killing him on the spot, police said.
The attackers fled the scene immediately after committing the crime.
The local press club condemned the killing of the journalist and strongly deplored the failure of police in combating the increasing target killing incidents in the area.
