Sugandhi was five months pregnant, they said.
The couple was travelling from Noida to Nangloi on a motorcycle when a speeding car hit them near Mukundpur flyover around 5.30 pm, the police said.

Labourer's head crushed by lift
New Delhi, Apr 22 (PTI) A 22-year-old labourer died after his head was crushed by a lift at a factory in Shahdara's Seemapuri area, police said Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Puneet Kumar, a resident of Sahibabad in Uttar Pradesh, they said.
According to a senior police officer, the incident took place on Saturday around 6 pm when Kumar was loading goods. New Delhi, Apr 22 (PTI) A man, carrying an award of Rs 50,000 on his arrest, was held for allegedly stabbing a person to death in Subhash Place area in January, police said Monday.
The accused has been identified as Karan Singh, 22.
According to a senior police officer, a resident of Shakurpur had lodged a complaint that three to four persons had attacked one of his friends Shanu in January.
Two accused persons were arrested while two were evading arrest.
During investigation, police searched all the possible hideouts of accused at various places in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan.
Thereafter, on the basis of secret information, police laid a trap near Sarai Kale Khan ISBT on Sunday and arrested the accused, Ram Gopal Naik, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), said.
