Tripurari Atharv to Be New Siliguri Police Commissioner

Kolkata, Jul 18 (PTI) The West Bengal government on Thursday appointed Tripurari Atharv as the new Commissioner of Police of Siliguri Police Commissionerate.

Tripurari replaces Dr Bharat Lal Meena, who was made the DIG Burdwan Range, a notification issued by the state government said.

Tamal Basu, who was the IGP Railways would be the new IGP, IB (Border), it said.

Basab Dasgupta, the IG-II (Border) IB, would take the place of Basu while Dr Tanmay Ray Chaudhuri, DIG Burdwan Range was made the DIG Traffic, the order stated.
