Mumbai, Aug 19 (PTI) State-run Uco Bank has carried out a consultation process at the branch level in its zonal office located in the financial capital with an aim to generate newer ideas.

The primary objective of the meeting held here over the weekend was to align banking with national priorities, stimulate ideas and inculcate a sense of involvement among bankers down to the branch level, the bank said Monday.

The meeting, attended by zonal head HK Arora and deputy general manager R Seshadri, is the first in a three- stage consultative process as directed by the department of financial services, it said in a statement.

The meeting discussed a list of eight thematic topics as per the directions of the department, it said, adding the outcomes will be compiled at both the bank and state levels.

The second stage of the meeting at the state-level banking committee, headed by Bank of Maharashtra, will take place on August 22-23, it said, adding the final meeting will be held at the national level.
