Mathura, Aug 3 (PTI) The water level of Yamuna river in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura district is receding rapidly, an official said today.
The Yamuna was flowing at 165.09 metres this evening, below the danger mark of 166 metres, said Mormukut Singh, executive engineer (upper division), Agra canal.
The speed with which the water level is receding, the danger of flood in low-lying areas may be gone by tomorrow noon, he added.
