The S 450e is powered by a 3.0-litre M256 Evo inline six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine integrated with a 120 kW (163 hp) electric motor and a 22 kWh battery pack. This combined system delivers a total output of 435 hp and 680 Nm of torque, transmitted via a 9-speed automatic gearbox in a rear-wheel-drive layout. The vehicle achieves a 0-100 kmph sprint in 5.7 seconds, reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph. It offers a WLTP-certified pure electric range of approximately 115 km.
