According to the woman's statement, her roommate Sabina Khatoon was allegedly in a relationship with Khan Sir. The complainant further alleged that attempts were made to harm her and said a police officer from her family intervened and reprimanded Khan Sir, following which he apologised and stopped troubling her for some time. However, the woman further claimed that Khan Sir continues to make inquiries about her whereabouts and residence.

The complainant also alleged that calls were made to her relatives, sometimes with the caller claiming to be from Sultanganj police station. The woman said she feared for her safety because she claimed to know information about Khan Sir, including allegations of serious criminal activity, such as involvement in the killing of Roshan's brother.
