The deceased sent the video to a friend in Malegaon before consuming rat poison on Thursday. Based on the evidence recovered from the victim's phone, the police have officially named seven people in the First Information Report (FIR). Those listed include his wife, Nisha, along with Sarwar (alias Kaif Khan), Reshma Kamrukhan, Shama Javed Sheikh, Javed Sheikh, Atharva Kale, and Ishita.
A police official stated on Friday that the case has been categorized under abetment to suicide.
